Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a fast-paced environment.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records within the Columbus facility.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping with precision and speed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and conveyors, while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times to comply with OSHA standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to read and interpret shipping labels and packing slips.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus (training provided on-site).
