Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials by hand or using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Sort, organize, and stage merchandise at the warehouse receiving and shipping docks.
- Perform picking and packing tasks with a high degree of accuracy to ensure order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order status.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50-70 pounds repeatedly.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Valid forklift certification (if required for specific roles).
