Responsibilities
- Safe Material Handling: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels by properly tagging and organizing products.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, including conducting daily pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and quickly to ensure timely delivery schedules are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve any operational issues.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Training: No prior forklift experience is required; on-site training will be provided.
- License: Valid driver's license preferred.
