Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Ensure all forklift operations adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning of the forklift and surrounding aisles.
- Perform inventory checks and accurately record stock movements using handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
- Follow standard operating procedures for all material handling tasks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with counting and basic arithmetic for inventory tasks.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work consistent shifts.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to obtain forklift certification.
- Valid Driver's License: (Optional but preferred for warehouse transport tasks).
