Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety compliance and proper functionality.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated racking areas to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely fulfillment of daily shipping and receiving schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping and organizing the dock area.
Qualifications
- No prior forklift experience is required; we are looking for motivated candidates willing to learn.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Valid driver's license (not always required for internal forklift work, but preferred).
