Responsibilities
- Package and prepare orders for shipment using provided equipment (tape guns, box cutters, scales)
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips and invoices
- Operate automated packing machinery (conveyor systems, label printers)
- Maintain clean and organized workstation area
- Perform quality control checks on outgoing packages
- Collaborate with shipping team to meet daily targets
- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Basic math skills for inventory verification
- Attention to detail and accuracy in packaging
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (training provided)
- Valid California ID for equipment operation certification
- Pass pre-employment background check
