Job Overview
As an Order Packer, you will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. You will work closely with inventory management systems and team leads to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise from storage areas based on customer orders, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors.
- Inspect products for quality, damage, or defects before packing and shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks, following all safety protocols.
- Label packages correctly with appropriate shipping information and barcodes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage aisles.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counting activities as directed by management.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners or warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
