Responsibilities
- Pack items into boxes, cartons, or crates according to customer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Verify product accuracy by scanning barcodes and performing quick quality checks.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping or dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners as required.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting discrepancies or damaged stock immediately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts).
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Madison facility.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
