Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate overnight warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead team of 10-15 associates, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies using WMS systems
- Train and mentor new hires on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with day shift management for seamless transition and operational continuity
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse management experience with overnight shift leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator certification required
- Proficiency in WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and inventory management tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions during off-hours
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
