Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person overnight team, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize warehouse workflows
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with receiving, shipping, and quality control departments
- Conduct daily safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Manage inventory control systems including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Train and mentor staff on new equipment and operational procedures
- Generate performance reports for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with overnight shift leadership
- Forklift certification and advanced equipment operation proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Expert knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Proven ability to manage KPIs including OEE, inventory accuracy, and safety metrics
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-peak hours
