Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Train new hires on equipment operation and safety standards
- Optimize stacking and storage methods to maximize warehouse space
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent warehouse/forklift experience
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse safety regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory software and digital tracking systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexible availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
