Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in high-volume warehouses
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent operational downtime
- Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company material handling procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
- Train junior staff on safe equipment operation and warehouse best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of recent warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-accident safety culture
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends for overtime
