Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Inspect and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and refrigeration equipment
- Load/unload perishable goods following FIFO rotation protocols
- Conduct daily safety inspections and report equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team members for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
