Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-20°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Inspect and rotate inventory following FIFO protocols to prevent spoilage
- Sanitize and organize storage areas according to HACCP standards
- Operate temperature control systems and report equipment malfunctions
- Complete accurate inventory logs and shipping documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols in refrigerated environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and temperature monitoring
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Attention to detail in inventory control and sanitation
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
