Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen environments
- Load/unload pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks following FIFO protocols
- Conduct cycle counts and update inventory in WMS systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold environments
- Sanitize equipment and workspaces according to food safety guidelines
- Operate automated storage and retrieval systems when required
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Flexible availability including early mornings/weekends
