Responsibilities
- Unload and load refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature control protocols
- Organize and inventory perishable goods using warehouse management systems
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards
- Monitor and document storage conditions (temperature, humidity) every 2 hours
- Sanitize equipment and work areas according to food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient product flow
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures between 0°F and 40°F for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
