Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer zones (-20°F to 45°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to safely move frozen and refrigerated products
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Enforce strict hygiene protocols and HACCP standards for food safety compliance
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues to prevent temperature deviations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (0°F to -20°F) for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
