Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload pallets of food products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct routine inventory checks and document storage conditions
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Perform sanitation and hygiene maintenance in storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient product flow
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
