Responsibilities
- Unload and organize refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in storage zones
- Perform inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Sanitize equipment and cold storage areas per FDA standards
- Operate refrigeration systems and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Collaborate with team on efficient product rotation and FIFO compliance
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging 28°F to 40°F (-2°C to 4°C)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Punctual with reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
