Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move and organize perishable inventory
- Inspect products for quality compliance and report discrepancies
- Adhere to strict sanitation protocols and safety standards
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse documentation
- Collaborate with team to ensure efficient loading/unloading of shipments
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
