Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) through continuous monitoring and adjustments
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts while following safety protocols
- Organize, rotate, and track inventory using warehouse management systems
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP, FDA, and OSHA standards for food safety and workplace safety
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas according to company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for entire shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
