- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct regular inventory counts and document storage conditions
- Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety protocols (HACCP)
- Operate warehouse equipment following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to -20°F)
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Forklift certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
