Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Load/unload temperature-controlled shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits and stock rotation in cold environments
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Operate cold storage equipment (pallet jacks, walkie-stacker, etc.)
- Monitor and document equipment performance and facility conditions
- Perform sanitation and cleaning procedures in refrigerated spaces
Qualifications
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for 6+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Valid driver's license required
