Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Organize inventory in FIFO (First-In-First-Out) manner using barcode scanners
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following HACCP protocols
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon receipt
- Operate automated storage/retrieval systems in zero-temperature zones
- Complete daily inspection logs and safety compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and temperature monitoring
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail in safety-critical environments
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends (shifts: 4am-12pm, 12pm-8pm)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
