Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature (-10°F to 40°F) and humidity controls in refrigerated units
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize inventory in FIFO sequence and conduct cycle counts
- Operate walk-in freezers and coolers safely for 2-4 hour shifts
- Sanitize equipment and surfaces using food-grade protocols
- Document temperature logs and inventory discrepancies
- Comply with OSHA and FDA cold storage regulations
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to industrial park location
