Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Inspect incoming/outgoing products for quality and compliance with safety standards
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Organize inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols in cold storage zones
- Sanitize and clean storage facilities according to food safety guidelines
- Complete accurate documentation for inventory control and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic experience in warehouse, logistics, or food handling preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (0°F to -20°F) for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
