Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Inspect and document product quality/rotation using FIFO principles
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments
- Adhere to OSHA and HACCP safety protocols
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following strict hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory management using barcode scanning systems
- Collaborate with team to meet daily loading/unloading targets
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to 4500 W. Jackson Blvd facility
