Responsibilities
- Unload and refrigerated trucks, verifying product temperature upon arrival
- Organize and store inventory in temperature-controlled zones (-20°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move goods efficiently
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all tasks
- Sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F - 40°F) for extended periods
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain company training
- Attention to detail for inventory management and quality control
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8-hour shifts
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
