Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage facilities
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO methods to prevent spoilage
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs in digital systems
- Collaborate with team on loading/unloading shipments during peak hours
- Perform routine sanitation procedures on equipment and storage areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in temperatures between -10°F to 40°F
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Previous warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Reliable transportation to early/late shift coverage
- Valid state ID or driver's license
- Team-oriented attitude with attention to detail
