Responsibilities
- Unload and load refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature protocols
- Organize and store products in designated cold storage zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) with proper safety certifications
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts using WMS systems
- Maintain sanitation standards and HACCP compliance protocols
- Monitor and document storage conditions using IoT temperature sensors
- Collaborate with quality control team for product rotation and FIFO management
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments with appropriate PPE
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper technique
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- Valid driver's license (for yard operations)
