Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and document storage conditions in digital systems
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate refrigeration systems and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment according to food safety standards
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient product rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to -20°F) for extended periods
- Valid Texas driver's license preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to 24/7 rotating shifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
