Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain precise cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in racking systems
- Conduct daily quality checks on perishable goods and rotate inventory using FIFO methods
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided) with strict safety protocols
- Maintain strict sanitation standards and HACCP compliance in all warehouse operations
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize storage efficiency and product flow
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (training available)
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 6+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
