Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Conduct routine inventory counts and stock rotation following FIFO principles
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklift certification provided)
- Complete sanitation procedures and facility maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Reliable transportation to North Philadelphia facility
- Flexible availability including early mornings/weekends
- No prior cold storage experience required
- Valid government-issued ID
