Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal refrigerated temperatures (-20°F to 40°F zones)
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize and rotate inventory following FIFO protocols
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods (produce, dairy, frozen)
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas daily
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Basic warehouse equipment operation skills (pallet jack, forklift preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management abilities
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible availability including weekend/evening shifts
- Food handler certification a plus
