Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated warehouse zones
- Safely load/unload palletized products using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts in cold storage areas
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks) following safety protocols
- Inspect products for quality compliance before storage
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and temperature logs
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to work in temperatures below 40°F for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Reliable transportation to Port Avenue location
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts
