Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Load/unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Inspect and rotate inventory to ensure FIFO compliance
- Sanitize storage facilities and equipment following HACCP standards
- Operate cold storage monitoring systems and report anomalies
- Assist with inventory audits and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols for cold environments
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F (0°C) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
