Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect and sanitize equipment/facilities to meet HACCP standards
- Manage inventory rotation (FIFO) and stock rotation systems
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
- Collaborate with team members for efficient workflow
- Complete quality control checks on perishable goods
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to -20°F)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification (preferred)
- Forklift certification (training provided if needed)
