Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload inventory safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
- Manage inventory counts and documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate material flow and meet production targets
- Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA or equivalent) with 1+ years of operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse documents, labels, and instructions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and operate equipment for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality for scheduled shifts
