Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, reporting any mechanical issues immediately
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize inventory management and workflow
- Document inventory movements and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems
- Assist in maintaining clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas
- Support cross-functional tasks during peak operational periods
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain company-provided training)
- Minimum 6 months prior forklift operation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Positive attitude with ability to work independently and in teams
