Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent downtime
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
- Organize and stage materials for shipping/receiving in designated zones
- Assist with general warehouse cleanliness and 5S compliance
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with at least 1 year of recent experience
- Ability to read and interpret shipping/receiving documents and inventory reports
- Strong attention to detail with excellent spatial awareness and depth perception
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system navigation
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
