Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse/dock settings
- Inspect and perform pre-shift equipment safety checks documenting findings
- Accurately manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/material handling environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to Harbor Plaza location
- Flexible availability including weekend shifts
