Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA standards
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily to ensure operational safety
- Manage inventory and organize warehouse storage areas efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet production targets
- Follow all safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes using warehouse management systems
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through training)
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
