Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to transport goods within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and functionality
- Load/unload shipments using proper stacking and securing techniques
- Manage inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow
- Document daily activities and report any equipment issues
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and overtime shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
