Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials throughout the warehouse
- Load/unload trucks with precision while adhering to weight distribution guidelines
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation using warehouse management systems
- Uphold OSHA safety standards and 5S workplace organization protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed (palletizing, sorting, quality checks)
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain free training)
- Minimum 6 months prior forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid NY state driver's license preferred
