Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within warehouse facilities
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas using efficient stacking and retrieval methods
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory counts
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support warehouse operations
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and cleanliness duties
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends/evenings
