Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management system
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams for timely material handling
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in warehouse cleanup and organization tasks
- Train on new equipment technologies as introduced
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
