Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload pallets and materials safely
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment before and after shifts
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock rotation processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in organizing and maintaining clean, organized storage areas
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 6 months of prior forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
