Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse operational standards
- Manage inventory control tasks including scanning, counting, and documenting stock movements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth workflow and meet production targets
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards and comply with regulations
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as needed
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
