Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Load/unload trucks using proper pallet jack techniques while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and report any safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
