Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse setting
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in organizing storage areas for efficient space utilization
- Support inventory audits and cycle counts as required
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including weekends/evenings
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
